I don't think it would work. There is a high chance that it eats the Mold, the ants kill it and eat it as pray, and then the Mold would grow inside the ant. Im just guessing.

Mold mites AKA book mites are not harmfull to ants and most ants dont enev notice them. Springtails are a little bigger then mold mites so there is a chance that they may become food. It would depend...

Wow. Mold mites sound perfect if used to counter mold. Just release a large amount in a moldy area and in a few days, the mold is gone and the mites are dead.
